Darkness
Darkness moon;
Sunshine in black...
Pale candelight flickers,
On a shade of a once remembered nightmare.
Fantasies abound to fill the empty
Dark desires claim the night and burns the dream
Leaving scars of unparalleled delight.
The swords of truth divide,
The truth setting apart
Night bringing wisdom in grey mist.
A dance in demolition
The temper flare at morning bite...
Let the dawn never find me
Let the chains of love never bind me
Safty behind a wall of loneliness,
Trapped in the cage of a dark heart;
Cage of the ebon vein.
Forever in the antient mind
Pieces of the soul left behind
In a destiny of dying alone we weep for another;
But find no release.
Lost in light of heart
Purity of soul's desire.
Hide flaws and scars in a dark cold corner,
Far from fire and from faith.
Comfort in silence, explosions in waves of sorrow.
For better to hide in the shadow
Better to let the dark mask me
Then be burned by the sun and light of truth.
